The holiday's most coveted (and controversial) cup.
For its 20th consecutive year, Starbucks launched its limited-edition Holiday cup design. In knowing the history of this paper cup, we wanted to remind people that it's only the beginning of the Holiday season, and how you make it special is up to you.
We spread the message with an animated spot that encourages users to make the cup their own by doodling, coloring, and adding to the canvas. We followed that up with a Facebook live event, where we asked viewers to tell us what makes the holidays special to them, and used their stories to create a 20-ft. mural in real time.
